Terms of service

Terms for quoting, booking, paying for, and managing freight through Shipocity.

  1. S1Definitions and service scopeThese terms cover domestic freight quoting, booking, payment, and carrier-serviced shipments.
Shipocity's online quote and booking workflow is for domestic U.S. freight. International shipment requests must begin with the contact form and are subject to separate review. Shipocity operates the platform; Customer is the registered business booking freight; Carrier is the underlying transportation provider; Shipment is a single freight movement; BOL is the bill of lading; PRO is a carrier shipment reference; accessorials are additional carrier services such as liftgate, residential, or inside delivery.
  2. S2Loss and damageCarrier terms, shipment documents, declared value selections, and applicable law govern claims.
Shipocity is a freight technology and coordination platform. Carrier tariffs, service terms, declared-value selections, shipment documents, and applicable law govern loss, damage, and delay claims. Customers should preserve shipment documents and contact the booked carrier promptly if a pickup, transit, delivery, damage, or claim issue occurs.
  3. S3Service standardsQuote accuracy depends on shipment details, carrier capability, and accessorial coverage.
Quotes reflect carrier capability, lane availability, and accessorial coverage at the moment of request. Transit times are estimates unless a carrier explicitly offers a guaranteed service for the selected lane. If origin, destination, weight, dimensions, class, or accessorials change after booking, the original quote may no longer apply.
  4. S4Cancellation and refund reviewCancellation and refund requests are reviewed against payment state, booking state, and carrier tender status.
Refund eligibility depends on whether payment has settled, whether the shipment has been tendered to a carrier, whether carrier charges have been incurred, and the facts of the request. Customers should use the contact form with the shipment reference and reason for a cancellation or payment review.
  5. S5PrivacyWe collect shipment data needed to quote, book, track, document, and bill freight.
Shipocity collects shipment and account data needed to quote, book, track, document, and bill freight. Carrier data sharing is limited to information needed to obtain rates, tender shipments, and manage shipment exceptions. See the privacy policy for the full data-handling policy.
  6. S6ContactUse the Shipocity contact form for terms-related correspondence.
Terms-related correspondence, including disputes, refund review requests, and clarification requests, should be submitted through the Shipocity contact form. Shipment service and claim issues should be directed to the booked carrier.
