How Shipocity handles account, quote, payment, shipment, and operational data.

  1. S1Data we collectQuote inputs, business contact details, and payment metadata.
    We collect the data you provide to obtain a domestic freight quote: origin and destination postal codes, item counts, weights, dimensions, freight class, declared value, and accessorial selections. We also collect information submitted through the contact form, including international shipment requests. Business contact details may include company name, contact name, email, and phone. Payment metadata is processed by Stripe; Shipocity never stores raw card numbers, CVVs, or expiration dates.
  2. S2How we use itMatch you with carrier rates, book freight, generate invoices, and maintain shipment records.
    Domestic quote inputs are sent to carrier partners to request available rates. Selected rates are used to create shipment records and generate invoices. Contact-form information is used to review and respond to the submitted request. Operational events are recorded for security, shipment administration, payment, and dispute-resolution purposes. We do not sell, rent, or share Customer data with third parties for marketing purposes.
  3. S3Carrier data sharingShipment details are shared with carriers to rate, book, and move freight.
    To obtain a rate, Shipocity shares origin postal code, destination postal code, item count, weight, dimensions, freight class, and selected accessorials with carrier partners. To book a shipment, Shipocity additionally shares pickup and delivery addresses, contact names, phone numbers, and special instructions needed to perform the freight movement.
  4. S4CookiesWe use first-party cookies for session security.
    Shipocity uses first-party session cookies to authenticate users and protect account access. Browser local storage may be used to preserve quote drafts between page loads; clearing browser storage clears the draft.
  5. S5Your rightsRequest account data access, correction, or deletion through the contact form.
    Customers may request access to account data, request corrections, or ask for deletion where deletion is available under applicable law and operational obligations. Some shipment, payment, carrier, tax, security, or dispute records may need to be retained for legitimate business or legal reasons.
